Southern Regional EMS Expo 2026

The Louisiana Ambulance Alliance is pleased to partner with the Arkansas Ambulance Association once again to continue this premiere, rebranded southern regional conference. This year’s conference will bring together field providers, EMS leaders, administrators, and revenue cycle professionals for three days of immersive and engaging education.

Prehospital Blood Transfusion Workshop as part of the 2026 ATSIP Traffic Records Forum
A Prehospital Blood Transfusion Workshop will be held as part of the 2026 ATSIP Traffic Records Forum, to be held on Sunday, August 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Borgne Room at the Sheraton New Orleans.
This workshop will be facilitated by Jeremiah Kinsman, Emergency Medical Services Specialist with the Office of Emergency Medical Services at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation. It will focus on prehospital blood transfusion practices, implementation, challenges, and lessons learned.
The session will focus on prehospital blood transfusion practices, implementation, challenges, and lessons learned, with a particular emphasis on how prehospital blood transfusion intersects with traffic records, trauma data, and injury outcomes. The workshop is designed as a collaborative discussion and learning opportunity for EMS leaders and stakeholders engaged in advancing prehospital care. Because of the importance of this topic to EMS systems and statewide leadership, it would be especially valuable to have Louisiana EMS Medical Directors and Administrators represented in the conversation.
There is no Forum registration required to attend the workshop, and CEUs will be awarded. For those who may wish to stay overnight, guest rooms at the Sheraton New Orleans are available at the federal per diem rate of $133 per night below.

2026 Louisiana State EMS Education Conference & Expo
The 2026 Louisiana State EMS Education Conference & Expo is bringing together the state’s emergency medical services community for five powerful days of education, innovation, networking, and celebration.
This year, the conference was on June 2-6, 2026.
The official hotel for the 2026 Louisiana State EMS Education Conference & Expo is the Hilton Shreveport, conveniently located adjacent to the Shreveport Convention Center.
A discounted group rate has been secured for conference attendees. To receive this special rate, all reservations must be made by May 18, 2026. Reservations made after this date will be subject to availability and the hotel’s standard room rate.
