HSEEP Training is a complete 3-day course covering the capabilities and performance-based exercise program that provides a standardized methodology and terminology for exercise design, development, conduct, evaluation, and improvement planning. Travel expenses and HSEEP course fees are reimbursable for EMS providers and hospitals participating in the HHS Grant. All participants registered to take the HSEEP course, must complete the Emergency Management Institute, IS-120.A course. This is a no cost, independent study course, which can be taken online at: http://training.fema.gov/EMIWeb/IS/IS120a.asp. HSEEP participants should bring a copy of their course completion certificate to the HSEEP Training Course. It is important to note that if someone shows up to the HSEEP Training class and has not completed IS-120.A, our instructors will ask them to work on IS-120.A over lunch, class breaks or after class, where no one gets turned away.
